To the editor:
I am writing to express my endorsement of Danielle Leonard for the Swampscott Select Board. It is time for a change in Swampscott. It is time to vote for a leader who will actively listen, consider differing opinions with respect, and make decisions based on what the majority of the community supports. Danielle is focused on rebuilding the community and our connections to each other.
Danielle’s background in human resources equips her with a keen understanding of accountability, integrity, and respect – qualities essential for effective governance. Her decade-long tenure with the Swampscott Public Schools has given her valuable insight into the town’s dynamics and the needs of the residents. As a parent with children in the Swampscott school system, she is deeply invested in the community’s well-being, actively engaging with the PTO, and serving on both the Town Recreation Committee and the Parent Council Advisory Committee.
I am confident Danielle will dedicate herself tirelessly to addressing pressing issues such as fiscal responsibility and infrastructure maintenance. She embodies the leadership qualities necessary to bring about a positive transformation for this wonderful town.
Respectfully,
Sarah Brogna
