LYNN — The Lynn Housing Authority & Neighborhood Development (LHAND) successfully organized an International Food Night for staff and their families. The night was dedicated to celebrating the rich cultural diversity within the agency with an array of delicious dishes and an assortment of music.
For the event, employees were encouraged to share a dish that represents their cultural background. The result was a mix of vibrant foods displayed in a buffet style, which properly illustrates the various countries of origin that make up the organization including Greece, Dominican Republic, Ireland, Puerto Rico, Mexico, El Salvador, Philippines, Italy, United States, and Guatemala.
LHAND emphasizes the importance of diversity and inclusion and is committed to representing the community that it serves.
